“And he (Judas) cast down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed and went and hang himself” Matthew 27: 5.

“Now this man (Judas) purchased a field with the reward of iniquity and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst and all his bowels gushed out. And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem, in so much as that field is called in their proper tongue Aceldama, meaning ‘The field of blood” Act1: 18-19.

When Allah says in the Quran,

“And their saying ‘we did kill the Messiah Isa son of Mary, the messenger of Allah, whereas they slew him not nor crucified him, but he was made to appear to them like that and those who differ therein are certainly in a state of doubt about it. They have no definite knowledge thereof, but only follow a conjecture and they did not convert this unto a certainty, on the contrary Allah exalted him to Himself, and Allah is Mighty, the Wise”Q4: 157-158.

Christians out of their ignorant and emotion as a result of falsehood of the Bible writers, contest everything that ‘Jesus’ died for 3 days and later resurrected , but analysis of the sign of Jonah which ‘Jesus’ ascribed to his end on earth (Matthew 12: 39-40); the phenomenon of darkness and commotion that pervaded the period of crucifixion (Mark 15:33), the absence of all his disciples (Luke22: 54) are all strong evidences that something significant went wrong. There is no doubt in the alleged death of Christ. But because Apostle Paul on his self admittance of being cunning and deceitful (2Corinthians 12: 16), has cunningly established that without Jesus being proclaimed dead and resurrected, no salvation for Christians! (Roman 10: 9).

All the same, our focus is on the nature of Judas’ death. What degree of correlation exists for the above two report on the death of Judas Iscariot, the traitor who betrayed his master ‘Jesus’? One say, he hanged himself, the other says, he went to jump down from hill top and his intestine burst out! Physiologically, this is not possible! The elastic nature of human skin with its epidermis and connective tissue and hypodermis does not permit crack let alone burst! It is fruits with pericarp-flesh and soft component that can burst from a fall, not human skin-stomach, unless pierced by an object. Apart from Judas, Christian apologists should tell us who in history fell from high place and have his intestine gushed out instead of brain crack and bone fracture? Bible is indeed interestingly amusing and nonsensical!

Despite that there was no darkness or commotion in the land when Judas was trying to die like that of Jesus’ moment, we still have a distance and distinct separate report for man like Judas whom all eyes would be focused for his role in the death of his master- ‘the only son of God’. Most importantly, is that Judas’ death even came earlier before Jesus was crucified (Matthew 27: 1-4). If this was so, and Act 1: 19, states that: “the death was known to all dwellers at Jerusalem.” Our question is, which of the death? And how then came about the other sharp and difficult to correlate narration? Is there any reliable reality in the Bible?

Now, if this embarrassing uncertain and disgraceful reports of Judas who died in day light without any hassle was recorded, what evidence has the Christians and what fact has the Bible that the commotion filled scene of Jesus’ death was true of his crucifixion? And is this the Bible you place your hope? Don’t make your hope hopeless after the truth has come to you. This is just an exposition to what the above stated Quran 4: 157-158, is saying about the death of Christ. May Allah make your heart submissive to the truth!
