Answer: Thanks for your inquiry, may Almighty Allah guide us all a right. Candidly we can say little on the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. But one true fact is that there are true Muslims among their divisions. There is one division known as Qadiani which is a city in India from where it was established. They are popularly known as Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. They are under the leadership of Mizra Bashir ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad, the son of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who is taken by the sect as new successor prophet after Prophet Muhammad(SAW). It is this division through their belief that many hold them as disbelievers. It is indeed a deviation, yet they cannot be compared with those who take partners with Allah in worship. We pray they abandon such erroneous belief.
The other division is known as Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha’at Islam Lahore, established in Pakistan which is opposed to the belief of Ghulam Ahmad a successor of prophet Muhammad(SAW). This sect is embraced by mainstream Muslims. Meanwhile, both the divisions have centers in many countries around the world. It is for you to find out from your inviters or host, which sect they belong, so that you may not be misled.
Meanwhile, we have a booklet in our library titled: “FACTS ABOUT THE AHMADIYYA MOVEMENT”, by Haji Salahuddin P. Tayo., published in West Indies in 1978. This booklet is an eye opener to the facts you asked for and it may need to be considered about the claim that Ghulam Ahmad was a prophet more importantly, the successor of Prophet Muhammad. Aside it is a warning to any individual Muslim or group who want to deviate or go into bid’a in deviation to the true path and Prophet-hood of Muhammad(SAW). More-so, it is a clear fact to the Christians, Jews, Buddhist and whosoever disbelieve in the Prophet-hood of Muhammad(SAW), that he was the true Prophet and his message is true and there can’t be no other true prophet after him, for which he must be seriously considered to attain salvation. Apology: The booklet was given to this society just like as it was scanned hereunder in 2002, without back-cover but with title page. The white patches on the pages are correcting fluid used to cover jottings and marks made by the former owner. Happy reading!
