“O you who believe! do not be forward in the presence of Allah and His messenger and fear Allah. Verily Allah is all hearing All Knowing” Q49: 1 Mr. Thomas quoted one of his brothers, Mr. Bergen who in his reviewing a book asserts: “Mainstream is rejecting al-Qaeda that the 9/11 attack was un-Islamic’. This comment did not go down well Mr. Thomas who said: “If by ‘mainstream Islam’ Mr. Bergen means moderate Islam, there is no such thing. There are many moderate Muslims, but there is simply no body of doctrine within Islam that provides a principled basis for condemning the 9/11 attacks… the term ‘moderate Muslim’ is a western construct and has no equivalent phrase in contemporary Arabic…”

If there is no body of doctrine, the above opening Quranic verse will not warns thereto, our leading Imams will not condemn the attack, and there will be no such moderate Muslim. Certainly there are many doctrines in both the Quran and Hadith that make Muslims moderate people. Christian cannot do but lie. It is a license received from apostle of falsehood-Paul who said: “If the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his (God’s) glory, why yet am I also judge as a sinner?” Roman 3: 7. Of course there is no doubt that there are extreme Muslims who are ruled by their emotion, ignorant and misconception. In the Quran Allah says: “Thus have We made you (Muslims) a people justly balanced that you might be witness over the nations and the messenger a witness over yourselves…”Q2: 143. He also says: “O you who believe! Do not be forward in the presence of Allah and His messenger and fear Allah. Verily Allah is All-Knowing, All- Hearing”Q49: 1. Do these verses talk and prescribe any other thing than being moderate? But Mr. Thomas and his like won’t see. The Prophet corrected some of his followers who wanted to go extreme even in their worship. He was once informed about “Abdullah bin Amru bin al-As who vowed to be fasting all day of his  life and to stand up for tahajjud through night hours  but the prophet forbade him from doing so and told him to fast a day and eat the other day, to pray at part of the night and use the other part to sleep” (Bukhariy).

And he warned against introducing innovation into the religion saying: “Beware of new things Bid’a, for verily all new things are innovation and all innovation is error” (Trimidhi). He also said: “All new things in the religion is loss and all loss will end in Hell fire” (Abu Dawud). In Islamic shariah no individual or organization has the right to wage war except the Islamic government and Allah warns Muslims not to ever start hostility: “And create not disorder in the earth after it has been set in order…”Q7: 56, Allah also warns: “And kill not the soul which Allah has forbidden save for just cause. And whoso is killed wrongfully, We have given his heir authority to demand retribution, but let him not exceed the bounds” Q17: 34. Mr. Thomas should tell us the meaning of all these! Such extreme people and behavior is not peculiar to Islam but also found in Christianity, even among the disciples of Jesus! The story of the arrest of Jesus showed one of his disciples extremist who without Jesus’ order, took sword and cut off ear of one of the armies-Matthew 26: 51. The grand extremist is Paul who took extreme end in falsehood to create Christianity for Gentiles which Jesus never intended- 1 Corinthians 9: 19-23; 2 Corinthians 12: 16 & Philippians 1: 18-19. Thus, if atrocities of some adherents were to be used as the yardstick to determine true teachings of any religion, then no religion in the world today would possess the validity of divine message. Mr. Thomas writes: “Throughout history, the Muslim world has witnessed attempts by Muslims intellectuals to bring about a synthesis between Islamic doctrines and human reason. For example during the 9th century, they were known as the Mutazilites of Baghdad. Their views were popular for some time but eventually, the strict school of Sunni Islam prevailed”

Such is it; truth is bound to prevail over falsehood. Those strict school of Sunni are the right path of Islam and whoever deviates from the path of Sunnah (tradition of the prophet) will finally come back to it. The prophet said: “My sunnah is obligatory upon you (Muslims) and the sunnah of my rightly guided successors, hold fast to it” (Ahmad). Till the world ends, there will always be rightly guided Muslims who will keep holy and guide to its purest form the religion of Allah for anybody who prefer salvation in the hereafter.  Christianity has been consumed by human reason - western ideology, that is why Churches are now ordaining gays as their bishops and the reason Christian president like David Cameron, Prime Minister of London and Obama of USA tried to enforce the abominable act of lesbianism on African countries in 2011, and threatening to withdraw their aids if the African countries refuse to legalize the evil act which is even rebuked in the Bible that Mr. Thomas said it is the source of governance in Europe and US! That is the modern world and human reasoning they want Islam to comply with. God’s society of gambling, polytheism, nakedness, alcoholism, usury, drunkenness, and lesbianism. Never will Islam come down to such destructive reason that has consumed Christianity.  He writes: “While admiring Europe technological achievements, they were not interested in its cultural heritage. That heritage which was Judeo-Christian, had played a major role in progress” How can Muslim with all guidance have regard for a cultural heritage that has no respect for Almighty dictate and moral right? On the other hand Science would never forgive Christians for the set back church leaders caused it and evils perpetrated against early scientist with their Judeo-Christian view- read the history of Galileo, the great and others. Europe cannot deny that he borrowed its today development from early Muslim scientists and Islamic civilization. And soon or later Muslims will catch up again. Is it Judeo-Christian heritage that responsible for China, India and Asian Tiger development and technological break-through? That shows the foolishness in the claim. Christians like attributing good and sweet thing to themselves and their faith even when there is no single evidence in support.

Citing series of wars in Islam Mr. Thomas said: “From its earliest days, Islam was beset with internal divisions and conflicts that were resolved through violent means…” Thanks, it was solved even by violent means and the truth is always prevail, the sunnah of prophet used to be victorious. But in Christianity, deceit, mistrust and brutality are the order of war. Jesus was sold out and betrayed by his own disciple and the issue was not settle among other disciples; Paul hijacked the pillars of church which Jesus intended for Peter and the issue was not resolved till date (Matthew 16: 17-18); neither did holy ghost nor Jesus’ father find solution to the bitter rancor between Barnabas and St. Paul till they went asunder for ever without resolve –Act 15: 39. How many issues and doctrines remain unresolved in Christianity till date? Whatever the tug of war and grudges in the Muslim world today, European and America cannot claim of their innocent, even though they themselves have had their own bad experience before and they cannot boast of being immuned against future occurrence. No nation is free from uproar due to complexity of human behavior. The similitude or prediction of the type of Muslim rules we have today in Arab world is cited in the Quran: “And of men there is he whose talk on life would please you, and he would call Allah to witness as to what is in his heart and yet he is the most contentious quarrelers. And when he is in authority, he runs about in the land to create disorder in it and destroy the crops and the progeny of man, and Allah loves not disorder. And when it is said unto him, ‘fear Allah’, pride incites him to further sin. So Hell shall be his sufficient reward and surely it is an evil place of rest” Q2: 204-205. Can a true Muslim ruler, who has this in his mind behaves ruthlessly like a criminal and totalitarian as we are witnessing it? Did Prophet Muhammad(SAW) or his Caliphs kill any Muslim under them in order to survive. Surely the present Muslim leaders are in stupor of forgetfulness and in snare of the western deceit. Quran reads: “…He (Allah) does not love transgressor. And create not disorder on the earth after it has been set in order…”Q7: 55-56. Has Mr. Thomas and his likes in Christianity not see and understand the word ‘moderate Islam/Muslim’ in all this? On the other hand, it is not only history that proves Christianity to be both false and violent religion, but its sacred text as well- Matthew 10: 34; 2 Thessalonians 3: 14; Ephesians 6: 1-7; Luke 19: 27; and Deuteronomy 23: 6. The magnitude of massacre Christians crusaders carried out on Muslims in history  can never be quantified. One master of Mr. Thomas, Doctor of Divinity, Inge, writes: “ The Church was early on war path against Arians and then against Moslems. Massacres of Jews, heretics and Mohammedans were considered eminently meritorious.”It has not stopped. Those verses above are their inspirations and they are still being inspired more in a deceitful way championed by US and her European Allies with propaganda of terrorist and secretive evils. Jehovah witness in one of their watch tower publications writes under the topic ‘Christendom Apostasy’: “…in the name of Jesus, many nations have suffered at the hands of Christendom, but without doubt the Jews people have suffered more than any of them…aside from outright persecution what kind of moral example have the ‘Christians counties given to the rest of the world? Little more than wars, crusades, and ‘holy’ Inquisition. Even World War 1 and World War II were begun in ‘Christian’ lands. Could it be said that Christians morality has been exemplary?...the persecution perpetrated by Christendom, its wars, immorality, hypocrisy and blasphemous doctrines are unpardonable not only in the eyes of non-Christians but also in the eyes of God Almighty. For this reason, Jehovah Witness, though follower of Jesus Christ, are no part of Christendom. Christendom, on the other hand, is no par of true Christianity. Virtually the only similarity between Christendom and the first Christians is the use of the name Jesus…” Finally Mr. Thomas quoted one professor Karsh with an envious statement saying: “…It (Islam) did not distinguish between temporal and religious powers, which were combined in the person of Muhammad, who derived his authority directly from Allah and acted at one and same time as head of state and head of the church. This allowed the prophet to cloak his political ambitions with religious aura and to channel Islam’s energies into its instruments of aggressive expansion, there being no internal organism of equal force to counterbalance it… had it not been for his sudden death…he would have most probably expanded his rule well beyond the peninsula… long after the fall of the ottoman empire and the abolition of the caliphate…the link between religion, politics and society remains very much alive in the Muslim and Arab world!”

And so shall it remain till Day of resurrection! That is their pain, that Muslim recognize Almighty creator in their governance! Shariah is Muslims’ guide and pride, it protect them from corruption and blasphemy, it direct them to the knowledge of true god and His worship and assures them of salvation in the hereafter. So whether Muslims adopt Democracy or adopt Socialist or Caliphate or Monarchy- Shariah must necessarily be the template. Now if Muhammad was accused of ruling in that manner, if such Islamic combination is irritating Christians then we will tell them that it is not peculiar to him alone or Muslim rulers, it was the same ruling system Moses adopted, likewise the great grandfather of Jesus- David ruled by the same head of Church and Head of state and trinity did not kick, only that they were not as successful as Prophet Muhammad(SAW).
